We recently switched from a Frontier PRI - T1 to Nextiva, they were great to work with, didn't need to sign a contract and helped us all along the way to get everything converted over to their system. We were stuck in a Frontier protected territory so had very limited options and the only solution that made sense was VOIP and after comparing VOIP providers we settled on Nextiva Business Phone Service and have been happy since.

The beginning phase and implementation process to convert from our previous landline internet system was tedious and took several months which was shock, however, there was a great deal of communication even though the communication came from several different agents and several different platforms and spreadsheets and we are small business. I couldn't imagine how difficult it would be for a business with hundreds of employees or several different chains of call flows and sub schedules.

Once the implemtation occured, there were few snags, and we hit the ground running. Any sort of issues that we encountered we were able to quickly change or fix by logging in to software and managing through the basic web site and just messing around in the various screens. Customer service was easy to get to most times and did not have long waits and we have not had a time when service has been down unless the internet was down locally through our own internet service provider in our direct neighborhood.

Larger companies would need a really strategic plan and very descriptive call flow worked out of what they would need before beginning any sort of talks with a company like this. In my opinion. We had very few needs and it took us so many back and forth conversations and changes and spreadhseets, it was months before we could get it right and we have less than 10 employees in our office and very few days we are closed during the year due to the nature of our business.

We are a small remote business and the Nextiva Business Phone Service system satisfies all of our needs. No hardware is required and a mobile phone or laptop is easily compatible. Setup is easy and our customers have never complained about a bad connection or dropped call.
Anytime we ever had a small issue or question, Nextiva Business Phone Service support has been very helpful. This is definitely a product I would recommend.

Nextiva Business Phone Service is a perfect product for a small business. It's reasonably priced and you don't pay more until your company grows. In addition, there is no hardware required. Part of our remote team uses their laptop to receive and make calls, other team members use their mobile phone. I can't think of a feature that our business would need that Nextiva Business Phone Service doesn't already provide.

We use Nextiva Business Phone Service for voice and FAX, and we were able to totally eliminate our VOIP phone system which consisted of hardware based equipment. They allow for access via the web or using the app from anywhere. We now have one integrated solution that is easy for everyone to use.

But in each case, knowledgeable support staff found the problem and resolved it!

Our company uses Nextiva Phone Systems in all the offices, and since its inception, we have been satisfied. There's never any service issue and there has never been static on the phone. The phones must work consistently and without issue. Whenever I needed to call customer service, I did not have to wait to speak with someone. They answered the phone quickly and addressed my issue without complaints.

It is our primary phone system for our offices. Receive calls, route to voicemail, forward to cellphones when working remote. Conference calls in individual offices and in group meetings to augment videoconferencing. This was the solution we choose to replace outdated equipment that was over 10 years old and wanted to outsource the infrastructure for the phone system.

We are a charter school. We were using an analog line through a national phone company. We need to expand and update our phone services to VoIP. Nextiva's pricing compared very well with what we were already paying for less service. Before the switch, teachers had to go to the main office to contact parents by phone. Switching to Nextiva allowed us to put a phone in every classroom, making communication for our teachers much easier. Now, they can make parental calls from the classrooms. Having the push-to-talk option also has been great for classroom communication.

My office have been using Nextiva phone service since opening the office. We utilize all the features that the service offers. The fax feature is very easy the follow and use. I haven’t run across any issues with the service that would cause any problems or issues with daily usage. The phone is about 95% of our business due to referral or outbound calls.

I use Nextiva auto attendant to route calls for my main line to employees with each employee also having their own individual phone number set up with voicemail. They also provide a fax number for the company for the few times a year it is needed. I use the Yealink phone with Nextiva.

I started with another phone company starting with the letter O. I spent at least 20 hours trying to get their phone service to work properly. They issued me a number that wasn't properly assigned to them. After a month or two I gave up and found Nextiva. Nextiva got everything correct the first time and were upfront with all pricing.

We utilize Nextiva Daily for our business. We also use the IM and recording feature everyday. The cost is much lower than we were used to paying and the customer service is always looking for ways to assist. Updates are rolled out regularly and fixes for glitches are resolved in a reasonable amount of time also.

It's so easy to use not like the other platforms that they need to install a lot of tools before you can use it. And also, my co-workers from previous company are still using Nextiva up until now meaning they also really like how Nextiva works.

We migrated Cisco Call Manager to Nextiva Business Phone Service, and we saved a lot. Cisco Call Manager like other hosted PBXs is associated with CapeX and OpeX you need a well-trained IT to manage and technical support contracts,...etc.

Nextiva Business Phone Service provides us with a VoIP phone system that allows us to make and receive calls over the internet at a greatly reduced cost compared to a landline system. The system includes call management tools such as auto attendants and voicemail-to-email. Nextiva Business Phone Service also offers very reliable customer support whenever we need assistance which is my real basis for this review because they truly excel in this area.

We use Nextiva Business Phone Service for all of our office phones. It's easy to use and navigate. The call center feature is a life saver for us! We have two medical offices and we are able to dictate what phones need to ring for incoming calls and which phones do not. Every phone is able to have their own extension and their own voicemail. We don't have to take so many messages if someone is not at their desk. Just forward the call to the extension and if they are available the patient is able to leave a voicemail for their provider. Customer service is outstanding! Always very helpful and fast to resolve the issue. Would highly recommend using Nextiva Business Phone Service for office use.

We use Nextiva Business Phone Service to communicate between employees, customers and support. Our employees are able to communicate with each other to collaborate on projects and orders. Our sales team is able to easily take calls from current or prospective customers.

Without having a the call functionality that Nextiva Business Phone Service offers, we wouldn't be able to effectively communicate with our customers or even between each other. The scope of our use case is basic auto-attendents with call routing, extension routing and voice mail tracking to make sure all of our calls are being responded to in a timely manner
  • Up-time, We've never had any sort of extended downtime because of Nextiva Business Phone Service, there services just work
  • Provisioning of supported devices is very easy to do and is almost automatic, this makes new device roll out especially smooth
  • The call flow functionality is especially smooth and intuitive to setup.
  • Their customer service is very effective and I've never waited more than 2 days for a solution, that's for more complicated issues too.
  • Their website seems to have a lot of issues, navigation on there is not especially smooth either. Many times I'm trying to find some settings or logs that just don't seem to be there or are hidden behind menus that don't make sense.
  • I'd like to be able to have a high level administrative view of our account. Many times I'm trying to find a particular extension that isn't utilized often and it's tied to a call group or something else that I didn't know about.
  • Overall I think the UI/UX needs some improvement from an admin point of view to make managing the account easier and more effective.
Nextiva Business Phone Service does auto-attendants perfectly, ours always works and is easy to edit when we want to add more options. Internal communication has never failed us and even more so, external communication has worked 99% of the time.

I think if you have a lot of users say over 200, it can become difficult to manage the changes/additions that are made. This is where I think my suggestion of a higher level view of the account overall would help a lot to keep track of everything.

I use Nextiva for Voip phone service. Voice calls, voicemail, and fax.
  • Ease of changing voicemail messages.
  • Ease of using mobile app
  • Ease of making changes such as which phone rings and where
  • Had a little trouble with changing office greeting this past Christmas and New Years. Customer service had to help me. Hopefully they got that fixed though.
  • I understand Nextiva doesn't integrate with AgencyZoom.
I called recently to add a phone number to my account. Needed to assign that number to a phone and get the Caller ID corrected. Customer service helped me complete this task with ease.
